Balloon tips

I just got a new os load and can not remember for sure how to get rid of the ballon tips.
I have this:
Start regedit, expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER and set
EnableBalloonTips=0x00000000

KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

Do I have to enter the "EnableBalloonTips=0x00000000"
since it is not there already?

Or is there another way?
Thanks for any help
