Windows XP does not recognized RAID 0 drives
I have a dual processor, RAID setup that I just finished building. I have configured for RAID 0 and the BIOS sees the drives and the RAID configuration. I have a DVD/CD drive attached via EIDE cable. I can boot from the DVD/CD drive without any problems. I have also loaded the drivers from the disk. However Windows XP stops the installation because it "did not find any hard disk drives installed on my computer". HELP!!! Thanks in advance ... |

The RAID drive(s) you are referring to are SATA, correct?
During the installation, look for something to the effect of "Press F6 to install RAID/SCSI drivers". It appears at the bottom of the screen. Then, stick in the floppy marked as having RAID/SCSI/SATA drivers.

I'm referring to SCSI drives. I already did the "F6" and used the driver disk. Still no success. I also tried the Tyan motherboard drivers from their website and still no success. It's got to be a driver problem but I cannot figure out what to do ...
Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance ... |
