xp start up sounds

Is there any way to make the start up sounds, a longer duration?
Say I wanted it to last 60 sec's.
Thanks

Just load up your own startup sound - they are simple .wav files.

huh-huh

I did, and have been doing so for a long time. I make a .wav in nero, edit what I want (the begining riff from spirit in thesky) and the rest is easy.
I have a new xp load with SP2, and for some reason it will only play about ten seconds of the .wav. ( I have not exactly timed it) But it is way shorter then the .wav I have made to load.
I just had a thought, but it should'nt matter. I wonder if I put the wav in the folder C:/windows/media? I have been retreving it from my music folder.
I thought that there may be something timeing it out? A set limet of some sort?
Not exactly the end of the world here, mostly curious.
Thanks
