Wink old DOS program in Win2K

My father has a old Ham Radio morse code training program that runs in DOS. Works in 2000 ok, except for a problem that screws up the timing of the "dits" and the "dats" (if you know what morse code is you know what I'm talking about). Is there a way to get the proper clock speed (or whatever it's called) for this particular program to make it work correctly?

Try running it in Win95 compatibility mode.

without knowing which program it is, all I can say is some of the older ones will not work very well with the newer and faster systems, they were designed for the older 8080 cpu speeds,
you can download some free newer programs that will work fine at the newer cpu speeds, it a common timming problem with the older programs.

CPUKill (591.68KB)
A simple slowdown utility for Windows. This thing can help you a lot when games are going too fast. It's very easy to use, you just have to select how much percent of its speed your computer is gonna use.

I've used that before to slow down a fast CPU to run ancient programs where timing is screwed up.
