User Names in XP Pro

I originally had the administrator account named user1 but then changed it to my name. However, the user name on the documents and settings folder and in task manager remains user1. Is there a way I can change this?

Hi Paranormal

back up registry or set system restore point, run regedit at command prompt, goto HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion modify the strings of "registered owner" and "company names" if applicable, this is normally used to change the name but it should in turn change the details you need, if not run system restore and revert back.

That only changes the registered owner not the user name.
