Help, wont boot

OK, i had a dual boot setup, me and xp. I removed the xp hard drive so i wanted to get rid of the dual boot screen when you turn on the computer, so i opened the boot.ini, and edited it.........welll, i must have typed the wrong this because my computer wont boot at all now! HElp please!

I backed up the boot.ini but what good will that do if it wont even boot?

Can you boot from the CD? Do you have a DOS bootable floppy? I found THIS site to be very helpful with dual boot problems I had. It can help you repair a boot.ini file as needed. Let us know how it goes.
