I totally messed everything up. I was trying a new thing to put everything in the quick launch tool bar, and I figured out how to put everything down there. But I was stupid and wasn't paying attention to when I went to empty my recycle bin and hit delete in stead of empty and now it's gone. I have no idea where it went. I tried searching for it but I came up with nothing. Also I managed to put my computer down in the tool bar as well (bf did that for me don't know what he did), I tried to drag it back up to the desk top and now it's gone too! When I draged it up it became a weird window I didn't know what to do with it, it wouldn't drag back down to the tool bar so I closed it (I know stupid) and it said you are closing a tool bar continue? I said yes. I can find my computer but it's empty.....
So my recycle bin and My computer is gone. Please help me fix this!!!! Last edited by hitomi_54; 01-02-2005 at 11:08 PM. Reason: Title change, add more details |

the first thing that comes to mind, and would be the fastest and easest to run is the system restore, and have it restore to a date before you deleted things.
I know you said that the my computer and the recycle ben are gone, so you should still be able to do the restore from the system tools. |
