Not Sure if this is totally XP related

Ok guys heres the long and short of my problem. My HDD has 4 partitions. I had installed PCQLinux a long time back , and since it is the crap that it is. It didnt take long for it to crash. Now my problem is that The partition I had installed it on is still invisible mad.gif Tried Partition Magic and it shows "Invalid Drive Label" and does not start up. Can anyone help me out here. I am at my wits end. I need that 20 gigs in that partition asap. Help me guys!!!!!!!

P.S : dont have the linux cd with me s

Welcome to PCMech.
What version of Partition Magic are you using? The newer versions are, in general, better equipped to deal with it.
How do you have your hard drive partitioned. You mentioned that you've got 4 partitions, how are they laid out?

The general answer to your issue lies in the use of diskpart command line utility from an XP console. (greater detail of your partition schema will help you get better solutions). Microsoft : details on diskpart.
I would highly recommend you run diskpart from a recovery console of XP rather than from a system that is booted up.
