XP Reboot

how do you reboot xp? is it possible to do it w/o tha CD??

The answers you've received would be for Restart, commonly referred to as Reboot. But I suspect what you are asking is if you can REINSTALL XP without the CD. Don't think so. You need the CD in order to do a repair/install (keeps all programs and files intact while replacing XP) or to do a reformat and install.

I must have a differant xp than some of the others.

ctrl-alt-del will give me the task manager which has on the menu bar the option for shut down, clicking on the shutdown menu a box drops down with the options of:

stand by
turn off
restart
log off
switch user

so it does have a option to restart xp under that menu
