XP Powertoys: Virtual Desktop

I recently discovered this sweet program that lets you use 4 desktops at once. But I have one quick question about it: I have it in the taskbar, but it takes up so much space. I've looked hard, and is there any way to configure it so it is more efficient? Right now, it looks similar to this:

MSVDM: x 1 2 3 4

Is it possible to remove the MSVDM text, and maybe get the icons in a square type shape?

I know this is a rather specific question, but does anyone know it? Maybe a registry modification could do it...

It's been a while since I used it. But seem to recall you can turn the 1-2-3-4 thing off all together. You just have to hot key to get to a different desktop.

I know that the entire graphic can be turned off, but I was just wondering if there's any way to get it to be smaller. As of now, it takes up a good chunk of the taskbar, but I do want it there. Maybe there's a registry edit to fix it. Perhaps I'll take a look around the Microsoft site some more.
