how do i delete one of the dual operating systems

ok, in the process of formatting this laptop i ended up only doing a repair on it since its for a customer. well now it shows 2 operating systems during boot up. how do i delete the other, or just tell the computer to automatically choose the correct one? i need help asap

If you're using WindowsXP,

control panel
system
advanced
startup and recovery - settings
click on "edit"

you should be showing two default operating systems. Delete one.
