Sorry, I am not exactly sure what you are asking for...
- actually having working icons from within your document?
- having a toolbar which is movable within your document?
- having an image of on an icon to place on your document to type next to?
- or none of the above?

I am trying to get the individual icons as images in a document so I can type beside them. I am trying to write a document in English on how to use MSword for French Kids. This way they learn English and Word at the same time:

One long/hard way to do it is to make a Print Screen Image. Cut out just the section you need. Save it as a jpeg and "insert" that image into the doc.

Hi

You can right click on the toolbar, click customize. Ignore the customize dialog box & right click on the image you want to copy. Choose copy button image - then close the dialog box, put the cursor where you want the image & click edit, paste special & choose bitmap. Before you do this, I would recommend turning off automatic bulleted lists (tools, autocorrect options, autoformat as you type), otherwise it will make it a bulleted list.
