hmm, partition work from inside win xp?
I am working, I have an IDE hard drive in a USB case. Just wondering, long store as to why but Is there away to fdisk this drive from inside windows.
I currently have a linux partition on it, and win XP can not read it. I know I can break it down and connect it back to IDE and correct this. HOwever seems to me their should be some software that can do that for me that is hopefully available as freeware?

Have you tried using disk management to remove the unsupported partition?

ok, I have got to get my head out of the cube. That was it prefectly.
Thing is, I don't know why I didn't check there as I Use that mainly for checking my shared resources. That took prefect care of it for me. Incase anyone else needs to know. Start>Run>type in "compmgmt.msc" |
