Uninstall OS
Ok, i got a virus or something and my windows crashed, so i reinsatlled windows and now there is 2 operating systems on my computer, anyone know how to uninstall the first OS, and will having 2 OS's make my CPU noticibly slower! Thanks ya'll

Two OS's? That's actually quite common, and known as dual-booting.
Anyways, if you have two copies of your OS installed, you most likely messed up partitioning/formating your hard-drive. Haveing the 2nd copy of the OS installed will only waste space (unless of course you need that second install). While running your new install of Windows your old install will just be sitting around doing nothing ('cept wasting space) and thus it will not slow down your PC. To get rid of the old install, you need to delete or simply erase it's partition. I think the easiest option would be to re-install Windows, and it should say something about partitioning, when it gets to that screen, delete all your current partitions and just make one big partition, then continue with the install. You could also buy a program such as partition magic whic has options to delete, move and resize partitions. In other words, with partition magic you could delete the old install, move the new install to the front of the drive, then expand the new install's partion to fill the hard-drive. But you would have to clean up the master boot record... Good luck! L J
