Are you talking about items under the processes tab in the task manager?

No, Right click on blank screen, then (properties),which brings up (display properties),then (desktop),then they are listed as background.

There small files that you can use to change your background. It wouldn't make a big difference if you deleted them.

These are bitmaps (*.bmp) and stored in the Windows folder (usually C:\Windows).

If you cannot find them, simply remember the name of any picture you wish to delete, then go to Start > Search > and search the name of the picture. Then delete it out. Just to add, it isnt necessary for the new windows OS' that they be just BMP's, they could also be JPGs. Last edited by Statica; 01-11-2005 at 10:34 AM. Reason: Addendum |
