computer runs real slow real fast

when i first turn my computer on it runs great. after a while it heats up and the cpu usage is 100% all the time and it runs so slow. suggestions?

Try downloading, updating and running spybot and adaware. Try scanning in safe mode.

btw, do you have an Intel CPU? Because of a heat issue, they can clock themselves down.
