Does anyone know how to get it back to the Windows default? Thanks a lot in advance!

Are you referring to Windows Classic View? That's where XP looks like 95 or 98. Just right click on the taskbar, select properties, start menu tab, and click on Classic at the bottom. You can customize from there with the Customize button.

Right click below "Run" click properties>customize and then reduce the number of programs to be displayed in the start menu, from say 10 down to 6 or whatever.

left click anywhere on the start menu and a small menu with only "properties" will be in it. click properties and then click on the top customize (there is two but one is grayed out) and then on the bottom you will see internet and email with check marks see if they are checked if not then check mark both of them. if it is then try unchecking both of them and click ok and go there again and check both of them
