Consideration/procedures for adding 98 to already installed XP

I'm thinking about buying and adding windows 98 because a lot of the old programs we have won't work on XP. I have a computer I built and I purchased the full version of XP home for it. My old pc had 98 on it, but I had no install disk, so upgrading wasn't possible then. My mb is Intel D865PERL and I have an 80 gig hard drive. I will need to add another hard dive for more space as I'm using about at 72 gigs now and my daughter keeps getting new games.

I just got Ghost 9.0 for backing it up and I already had Partition magic for rearranging things. When I get another drive, (I'm considering getting 120 gig), and the 98 operating system.

My questions are:

How should I go about doing this once I've bought another hard drive and Windows 98'? Is there a link to a tutorial? I looked, but only found one for installing both 98 and XP at the same time.

I do need the "full" version of 98 to do this, right?

What drive configurations are recommended. My mb supports SATA. My 80 gig uses an IDE cable. Could I use SATA in conjunction with the IDE I have? What are the advantages/disadvantages?

Adding Win98 to a computer that already has XP installed

Yes, you need the full version of Win98.

Yes, you can use SATA for better transfer rates.
