Urgent Help Needed!
I am running windows xp and an antivirus program quarantined the file iks.sys from my drivers directory saying it was a virus. I thought it odd but went ahead anyhow and restarted the computer. Now when i am at the log on screen it freezes the second i touch a button on the keyboard. How do I remedy this problem? is there any way i can put the driver back where it belongs?
thanks |

You don't want to be putting that file back.... a quick google seach shows that it is a keylogger.
Can you boot your system to safe mode? If you can get in, do a virus scan with Housecall, then do a spyware scan with Antispyware Beta available from Microsoft.
