Dumping physical memory

Hey everyone I have recently been experiencing a blue screen that states the following error. This is shortened to the ending cause the rest doesn't mean anything. At the bottom it says beginning to dump physical memory and it starts counting from 1 until it dumps the memory and restarts the comp. I have run, spybot, norton antivirus, adaware, checked all that i know to check and I can't come up with anything. What could the problem be?

Thx
Extreme

Control panel, system, advanced, startup and recovery - uncheck restart on error and read the bluescreen next time it happens - what's meaningful is in the first few lines.

I'd been getting that message too, every time I tried to shut down my computer. Turns out I had the "Adaptec UDF Reader" installed on my computer from when I opened a CD/RW disk from a long time ago that used Direct CD. The Direct CD driver was for some reason making my computer unstable. I uninstalled it and it appears to be working now.

ITlover, why would he/she be posting about a Win98 issue in the NT/2K/XP forum?
