Booting Help need ASAP

I have a 250gb Harddrive

Got Win xp and now i geting hal.dll missing or corropted, i also have xandros in that same harddrive, but in xandros i cant replace the hal.dll file, i cant get into my the windows then system32 folder.

So i tried inserting my cd and using recovery console, i went der typed the expand comand, i get access denied error, duno y.

Also in the c: i type dir, i cant see no files or folders get error bout sumin, but in xandros i can see my folders and files well sum. i tried the bootcfg der too, it gave me no windows can be find the boot entries was empty, i tried adding rebuilding no success.

Then i went ot xp thot ill do a repair, but it dont show the operating system in der to repair, i need help badly, pls help
