Unhappy Auto-Search Folder?

Hey guys, i got a prob, when i go to open any folder, in my drives or anywhere on my comp, i double -click it which would usually open it, but it acually searches the folder as if i right clicked and clicked search instead. So now i have to right click every folder and click open? Any help would be great, thanks guys!

Have you installed any new software recently? when was the last time you did a scan for viruses or spyware?
Have you tried a system restore back to before this problem began?

This usually happens when there are items in your folder that require particular attention. For example, do you have zip or compressed cab files in the folder? If so this could happen because the zip files are treated as folders; this takes time for Windows to keep a track of.

Send a message via AIM to autotran
Try here, you can disable some search options with some of their tweaks.
