Boom need help fast!

hey my friend is trying to play a game and whenever he tries to start it up he gets this message...

"Access violation at address 7C809E9C in module "kernel32.dll". Read of address 00000810."

well from wat i know of computers...getting a message saying something is wrong with/in ur kernel32.dll is not something to be happy about.

can u help my friend

oh yea i have the same game but i dont have that problem and everything runs fine for me.

any help even a finger pointing to a direction(meaning site) would be really helpful.
