Question Restoring Icons

Hey

I downloaded icons for my desktop using some software called THEMEXP or STYLEXP. Recently those items have became uncomfortable and i'd like to restore my previous ORIGINAL XP's icons.

if any1 knows how can i do that please share with me.

Go to Control Panel>Display>Desktop>Customize Desktop and icon options will be in the next window to appear.

It seems like the program i used changed my default icons so when i do "restore default" it makes no change. icons like IE and My Network stay as they are and i want them to be restored.

If you right click the icon and select properties, you are given the option to change the icon and from the next window you can browse your machine for icons and pictures that you want to use.
You could always do a system restore to back before you installed that theme program, but be aware that you will also uninstall any programs you have installed since you installed the theme program.

You could also just re-create the original icon. Find the icon somewhere else other than the desktop...right click>send to>Desktop shortcut. Delete the old one, also by right clicking>delete...done deal!
