XP System Restore Points

I am using Win XP Home edition. I would like to find where the System Restore Points are located and delete most of the older ones. Also, I have seen these points called "System Volume Information".
I have tried in vain to find these points. I would appreciate it if someone would please tell where these Restore Points are located and how to delete some of them? They take up a lot of space on my hard drive and it takes a long time to defrag them.
Thanks for the help.

Rather than delete them you could limit how much space they can take up. Right Click My Computer -> Properties Then the System Restore tab and you can change the amount of space dedicated to system restore. It will automatically delete old points to fit the changed amount.

Run the disk cleanup wizard and go into the advanced properties, there's a selection in there to delete all but the most recent restore point.
