Help with Starting Up

My cousin has Millenium Edition on her computer, and I was wondering how to access the file which tells me which processes are executed as a part of start-up rather than run when used. I wish to know this so I can remove a number of them. Cheers

Start/Run/type msconfig and hit ok, Startup tab/ everything listed is starting when the computer boots. There are some that need to start, so take the time to find out what each one does before unchecking them.

Here are some good places to find out if they are needed or not.

Cheers Redo...
I know which ones I want to remove, I'm not tweaking it as such, just removing the rubbish which they've got starting which they don't need
