annoying folder problem
for some reason windows thinks that my d drive is a music folder, i know that because of the music icon, is there any way to change it back to a regular folder. i tryied right clicking and click customize folder but the option isn't there

Are you sure that the the icon didn't change back after playing a music cd? Try right clicking and going down to eject and see if it changes. Does it stay like this even after a restart?

Wow, ok I see now. How long has this been happening? Have you installed or done anything different lately? Have you tried system restore back to a point before this started?

A couple of things you could do:
1. Select "Tools">"Folder Options", and in the "General" and "View", click on "Restore Defaults" 2. Better yet, go to your C:\ drive (which I will assume is the way you want that folder), Select "Tools">"Folder Options">"View", and click "Apply to All Folders". This will change all folders to view the same way as the C:\ drive is presently shown. |
