" rename .dll file at safe mode prompt" How?
I'm trying to fix a dial up modem problem and part of a suggested fix
is to rename wsock32.dll at command prompt, install fresh new one, and register it. It wont rename in normal mode. " In use... etc " What command do I use to rename it in DOS ? Thanks, Chris. |

Try using winsockxpfix instead. Google it, it works on any version of Windows.

I ran that glc, as you suggested
It didn't work - I'm down in the islands. http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.p...955#post859955 Maybe I should just have another rum and coconut water ! Cheers Chris. |
