that annoying yellow box in windows explorer

ok im sure you guys know what im talking about...whenever you stop your mouse pointer on a file that dialog box comes up and states all the information about the song/movie/whatever....my question is how do i turn that damn thing off!!!!!! and can i do it only in 1 folder or is it universal...thanks

Open any Explorer window. Tools menu > Folder options > View tab > Advanced settings (Scroll to the bottom) and uncheck Show pop-up descriptions for folder and desktop items. Click Apply
That does it for the particular folder, click Apply to All folders to pass on the same settings to all folders.
