Turn Off AVG 7 Boot scan

HI,

looked everywhere i can think to turn off the boot virus scan....
been in the bios nothin there...seems to be causing a prob with conventional memory overload but i would like to rule the boot scanner out before i change anything else

It's in the autoexec.bat file. You can edit it by running Sysedit. It's not screwing with your conventional memory, all it does is scan, it does not remain memory resident.

Thanks again Glc,
I sussed that a fresh install of AVG 7 allows you to do a "custom installation" which then allows you to Untick boot scanner from working.
problem solved
