2 Windows XP Pro Problems!
1. This really isn't a problem, but I want to know if it works.
Computer One: Windows XP Pro, 20 Gb Hard Drive 900mhz Duron Processor 512mb of ram S3 Savage Video Card Computer Two: 633mhz Celeron Processor 10Gb Hard Drive 190 mb of Ram 8mb video card. I know this may sound stupid. But I want to move windows XP from Computer one to computer 2. Just the Hard Drive, all the other hardware stays the same. Will XP just redectet the new hardware and be done with it? 2. Video Card Problem. I got a GeForce FX 128mb. And whenever I try to boot XP Pro, it doesn't Bluescreen, It Blackscreens, The boot screen shows up, but it wont boot into windows. How do I get into safe mode so I can install the drivers for the card? |

You can't just boot and have it detect the new hardware. You need to install the new drive, then boot from your XP CD, select install (not repair from command console), then repair install. When done, you will have to do the windows updates and service packs again.
Go to safe mode by hitting F8 before the XP boot screen.
