Cannot empty recycle bin
I get this message:
cannot delete Di14: access denied. Make sure nothing is using program/disk not full/write protect. Weird problem.

how do you boot into safe mode in Win XP?

As your system first starts to boot, start tapping the F8 key. Keep tapping until it reverts to a DOS like screen giving you the SAFE mode option. In XP you can also select SAFE Mode with Networking.
