pop-up blocker

Since down loading Service Pack 2 I am having problems getting pictures to show up. I keep getting the famous blocking notice (see attachment popblocker 1). Would love to get rid of it or at least disable it and let my Goggle blocker do the work. Second problem; even after I tell the blocker to allow me in it tells me to hold the CTRL key and click. When I do I get the infamous red X (see attachment popupblocker 2) . How can I cure this problem?

Sometimes you can right click and click on 'show picture'. This does not always work however.

I don't use IE, but when you click that yellow bar for more options, if it's anything like firefox you will have options to allow certain sites etc to render pop-ups.

If you just want it off try this.

1. Open Internet Explorer

2. Click on Tools, mouse over Pop-up Blocker, and click on Turn Off Pop-up Blocker

Thanks for the fast reply. I discovered a web page on Windows help which might answer the problem, but doesn't solve it.It talks, among other things, of a problem caused by opening a "LINK.'

Am using Web Easy program to produce a slide show. It allows you to work it to produce a thumbnail of a picture which you can then click and it will produce a full screen of the same picture. This is done by "linking" the pages. When the program is completed you can preview it in Explorer. Thus when trying for the larger picture I am really opening a link.

I noted that I can get to Internet Options and there is a space for entering "Trusted Sites." Is there someway of getting my program into that space?
