Wireless network notification
In WinXP Pro, I get a popup from the task bar every time there is a wireless network, even when I'm on a wired LAN. I keep getting this notification every few minutes.
At work I sit above our Tech support area and they have a number of different wireless networks for testing. I assume there is a way to turn off the notification, but I've not been able to find it. Thanks. |

Right-click Network Neighborhood, go to Properties and disable the wireless temporarily. You can always re-enable it later on.

This is on my work laptop. That option is grey'd out. I assume I don't have the rights to change it.
