Problems wit Sony DDU-1621 Combo DVD/CD ROM
Hi
Big problem. My DVD/CD combo drive (Sony DDU1621) does not play DVDs in XP. It is recognised as a CD drive. I can't find any drivers for xp so that it can play DVDs. I've tried updating windows media player and got loads of additional DVD player softwares but nothing. Can someone please help me?! |

You need to install DVD player software such as PowerDVD or WinDVD. Once it's installed, you can play DVD's with Windows Media Player - the player install will install the needed codecs.
