Installing PS7 Fonts on SP2
When i placed my Fonts in C://Windows/Fonts, and then open up Photoshop My fonts are the ones supplied by Microsoft. In other words the new fonts are not installed. Is there a way to get around this?

Cave you close photoshop, then reopened it yet?
Have you rebooted since you copied the fonts into the folder? This doesn't usually require a reboot, but occasionally it helps.

You can't just copy the fonts into the fonts folder, you have to install them. Control Panel, Fonts, File, install new font.
