Windows - excel question
hi all:
All of a sudden I try to open a excel file on windows explorer and it opens excel but not the file. I know this is not a big issue, but I drives me crazy, not knowing how to solve this. And I have no idea how to search the forum for this problem. |

What version of Office and what OS are you using? You will most likely want to make sure all MS Office service packs and hot fixes are being used. A repair installation of Office may help as well.

Here is a MSKB article describing the problem in Excel 97. The fix may work here as well. |
