keyboard hijinx (Active X)
I am working on a P2 300 w/ win98 I have in my room. I got a new HP Multimedia keyboard (5183-7399) for it and I'm working on getting these multimedia buttons to work.
The internet buttons are becoming a pain in the butt. I hit the internet button, internet explorer comes up, but instead of going to google.ca like I want it to, it goes with a HP website that sayz "To go to this site automatically, please enable ActiveX" Here's the kicker. ActiveX IS enabled on IE 6. I am not too concerned right now. I'm going to upgrade to a larger harddrive within the next few weeks, so I'll need to reinstall everything anyway. I just wnat to know what to fix... |

Check in the HP multimedia keyboard setting software, you should be able to change the button functions somewhere.

Hmm, I tried that. That's how I changed the direction to Google.ca than the other site. Even before, it did that.
This is the browser link I wind up with when I try to use it: http://redirect.paviliondownload.com...www.google.ca/ The other buttons work (Volume, mute, standby) |
