multi user problem
I had to reinstall 2 or 3 times XP on my pc in order to settled some problems I had. Each time I reinstall XP, a new user is created even if it’s the same name as used before.
When I try with « explore » function to erase the inactive user name folders, a decline message occur like « you can not erase…bla bla bla.. ». How do I get rid of these inactive user name folders without causing problems? Should I go threw a different function ??? Thanks pjibe |

Go to Start > Run and type lusrmgr.msc
Select the users folder in the left hand panel. Right click on the user you wish to get rid of in the right hand panel and click "delete". Now, go into "documents and settings" and see if the user's folder can be deleted.
