A:/ drive help
I've just fdisked and formated my H/D and reinstalled windows .everything is ok apart from when I put in a floppy disc it comes up saying there's no disc in drive A:/ and it shows drive A:/ when I go into my computer it shows the drive is there ?

Is it showing in Device Manager with no yellow mark? Try uninstalling the floppy drive in Device Manager and reboot. Let Windows find and reinstall it.

Do you have windows installed, or are you just to the point where the next step would be to install it? If so, just boot with the CD.

Corky that did the trick m8 ..there were no ? but I uninstalled A:/ and rebooted & windows put it back in and it's working fine so thank you BOTH for the help
