Hello all...
I'm having a problem with Outlook XP, was hoping someone could help me avoid paying microsoft to send them a g***@mn e-mail. In a nutshell, my automatic send/receive won't work. It used to, but no longer does... I'm signed up for auto-update, so I don't have a specific point of reference as to when it stopped working... recently got SP3, though. I am very familiar with the steps to turn on/off auto send/receive, and have tried all possible options via the available checkboxes. Even set the timing to do an s/r every 1 minute, to no avail. The only thing I could get it to do is send something immediately when I'm online, via the appropriate checkbox, but that doesn't help me if I'm just waiting for an e-mail to show, I have to do an s/r whenever I want to know if it's there. At any rate, I'm so tied to my PC that actually thinking about checking my e-mail has become a pain... anyone have an idea? |
