Lost XP key
Hello,
I lost the serial code to my windows XP Pro CD. Is there a way to retrieve it? Is there some program which shows you what your key is? My current windows installation is still active, so I hope I can retrieve it. It must be stored somewhere right? Thanks, PiC |

If you have an older version of AIDA32 or the free version of Everest you can view the product key.

Sorry I bothered. I found this nice thread http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=119846 (a shame it's hard to find, actually)
I used Bellaerc, as mentioned in the thread. Worked perfectly. If you ever lose a serial key of an installed program, use this. Very good program. It sums up your complete configuration. As well software as hardware config (including keys and stuff). PiC Last edited by PilotinCommand; 02-19-2005 at 11:43 AM. |
