2 versions of XP on one computer
Ok assuming I preformat a harddrive or use a different harddrive, is it possible to have two sets of XP on your computer? I'm wondering b ecause I'm having some problems with software, and I want to see if it is something thats happened since installing Xp or possibly SP2, without formatting Windows XP. I'm guessing you can't do it, but I want to make sure

Very easy. Just install XP on a different partition, you will get a dual boot menu.

As GLC said it's really very simple. You install 2 copies on separate partitions. When you boot up the system yo'll be given a boot menu. You just select which copy you want to boot. I've done this before only I did a tri-boot with 3 diff operating systems.

alrite great. One question though. With dual boot, if I have them on seperate harddrives, will I get a menu or will I ahve to switch in BIOS. Because my old computer has 98 and XP dual boot, seperate drives (although they may be the same IDE channel) and I get the menu. Thanks
