office outlook, really stupid question

I have XP pro, the mail is office outlook, I have never used it, I use Yahoo, anyway, out of boredom I thought I'd give it a try, one problem, WHERE IS THE SEND button? What am I missing? I looked everywhere. I'm sure this is simple and I am going to feel like a jackass but I can't find it.

What version? 2000, 2002 (XP), or 2003?

Send a message via AIM to ak_honda
are you talking about the send/receive button? for one, Yahoo doesn't allow it's mail to be checked outside of the yahoo website, unless you pay for the service to check it through another program, unlike AOL and MSN/Hotmail. if it IS the send/receive button, make sure you are on some mail-folder first, it won't appear if on Calender or Notes, etc. it is part of the Standard Toolbar - if it's not there, try clicking the little gray arrow on the end of the bar, so it says "add/remove buttons" and go to that submenu and click on "send/recieve". good luck. i have office 2003 installed on my computer and i use outlook to check my hotmail and my webmail account from the college i'm attending and sometimes AOL.

Yahoo! does not let you unless you have YPops! installed! Then you can use Outlook, Thunderbird, etc to read emails
