automatic sp2?

read this article that said sp2 will be installed automatically on april 12th. if you have automatic update turned off, is this still true? will you be able to ignore it on WindowsUpdate.com. i don't really want it, as i am running fine without it, but if i have to get it, i am going to install it slipstreamed rather than let the update come down.
