Question Can't seem to set my homepage

recently I've noticed that my homepage setting was directing me to a MSN homepage...not the one I selected...I went to "tools" and clicked on "internet options" but all I get is a restriction notice telling me to contact my system administrator. When I try to change the homepage from IE's properties everything is greyed out in the area where you can usually change the homepage...Any suggestions on where to look to fix this problem?

Sounds like you have been 'hijacked' my friend. Have your tried downloading a program called 'Hijack This' yet? Link below...

Hijack This 1.99

The website has a few links within in it to describe the program better and how to use it.

No, AK - he had the start page lock enabled in Spybot. MSN doesn't hijack browsers, it's just the Windows default start page.

I see. Thought that the hijack could be for any website, not just ones intended on getting you to a certain website for the hijacks purposes... If you follow me. I am sure you can clear me up on that glc.
