Registry cleaners
Will these registry cleaners (Easy Cleaner, Regseeker) point to files/settings that haven't been used in a long time and label them as invalid registry entries and need to be cleaned/deleted? I don't know what to delete and what not to.

If you are not sure what to do don't do it 'cos you can messup things seriusly, or if you are learning you mayght as well try and see what happens.
Don't know about those two you selected I'm using something different for that mater!

Microsofts regclean deletes what is uneeded by itself, so you don't have to worry about deleting something important.
Also most of the registry cleaners backup everything when its removed, I know that regseeker does, just check the "backup before deletion" on the bottom left. If any of the programs don't offer backup, or you just want to play it safe, just make a backup of your registry by going to start>run>regedit then file>export. To restore it, just double click the saved registry, or go to file>import in regedit. namakan |
