Angry Fire pop ups appearing on screen
guys,

how do i get rid of unwanted pop ups that keep appearing on the screen

Scan for viruses and spyware and get a popup stopper.

I use Ad-Aware
and Spybot to remove the uglies and I suggest running Firefox if you are not already. It has a built in pop up blocker. Does not work all the time but blocks most.

upgrade your os to SP2. built in pop-up blocker for IE is installed
