Reformatting: HP Pavilion X1926
I've been asked to reformat an old HP Pavilion X1926. At least that's what the owner calls it. I can't seem to find that product number on the HP website though. In fact, when I google it, it only appears on one website.
I know this thing is going to be a pain to reformat without the drivers from the manufacturer. Should I even risk taking the job? Even better, does someone know where I might find drivers for this thing? -sporky. |

i go to www.driverguide.com. if possible, i'd replace the HD with a spare one, to guinea pig the reinstall. if it FUBARs at least you swap back to original HD.

That sounds reasonable. I'm going to try that.
