XP PRO 'no internet connection available'
New pc-new install xp pro-sp2 added:IE goes offline while surfing or changing web site or going to next page or most anytime - not always but too often -can't find a solution - Windows pop-up say 'no internet connection available' - "Connect" does not go online - "TryAgain" usually does.

Thanks - initially thought updating firmware for router fixed this issue - not so - still says no connection available when I go from one place to another - And another thing-but probably not related - IE will not open in full screen-it always reverts back to reduced size

Hey Roamer,
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;303346 found this on M$ Knowledge base... seems like it applies to your situation. Oh yeah, It's suggested to backup your registry before trying this... do you know how to do that? |

Thanks for help - think I have isolated it to the router - took it out of the setup and pc stays online - maybe it's a configure issue - need to find out how to configure router to match isp
